I am an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Advanced Science and Tehnology, Kumamoto University, Japan. I am working at Measurement & Instrumentation Lab with Prof. Ippei Torigoe.

I obtained my B.E. (Dept. of Mathematical Engineering and Information Physics) (2007), and M.E. (2009) and Ph.D. (Information Science and Technology) from the University of Tokyo respectively. At the University of Tokyo, I worked under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Hiroyuki Shinoda.

After I completed Ph.D., I joined Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, the University of Tokyo as an Postdoctoral Researcher and worked on HCI systems and tactile displays.

My current research and teaching interests include sensing systems, ubiquitous computing,  and human-computer interaction.
